Porcia, May 24, 2026 – Yesterday, in the evocative setting of the Cantina dei Principi di Porcia, within the castle of the town, the press conference presenting the sixth edition of the Trofeo Emozione took place. The prestigious international UCI class 1.1 cycling competition, reserved for the Junior category, will go on stage on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
Doing the honors and unveiling the details of the event was Adolfo Sacchetto, President of the organizing company ASD Emozione, who led the conference illustrating the great technical and logistical challenges of this edition.
INSTITUTIONS AND SAFETY Alongside President Sacchetto, testifying to the deep bond between the race and the territory, important institutional figures intervened: Regional Councilor Lucia Buna, City Councilor of Pordenone Gianni Coluccia, and Deputy Mayor of Vivaro Alessandro Ferluga. During the speeches, it was reiterated how essential the close synergy is between the administrations, Law Enforcement, and in particular the Traffic Police, to guarantee maximum safety during the race. A teamwork made possible only thanks to the tireless effort of the organizing staff and the many volunteers deployed along the route.
THE ROLE OF SPONSORS Ample space was dedicated to the event’s partners. Adolfo Sacchetto publicly thanked the pool of private sponsors (including excellences such as SuperBeton, Gruppo Triveneta, SFEDIL, and many other brands close to the event) who support the Trofeo Emozione. Their contribution is fundamental not only for the technical realization of the event, but because it represents a direct investment in youth sports and in the tourist and economic enhancement of the entire Friuli Venezia Giulia.
THE ROUTE: TECHNIQUE, CLIMBS, AND GRAVEL The technical contents suggest an intense and spectacular race, in line with the past edition that saw the triumph of the Trentino rider Alessio Magagnotti (Autozai Contri). The peloton will start at 3:15 PM from the beautiful Piazza Umberto I in Vivaro. After tackling 128.6 km and approximately 1,420 meters of elevation gain, the highly anticipated and triumphant finish line will be in Piazza XX Settembre in the heart of Pordenone, with the arrival expected around 6:00 PM. A nervous and ruthless course, enriched by 3 Intermediate Sprints, the double climb to the King of the Mountains (KOM) of Pradis di Sopra, and two sections of unpaved white roads (gravel) inserted in the finale, ready to detonate the race before the plunge towards the city.
A WORLD-CLASS PELOTON 20 formations will be at the start. The sixth edition stands out for the absolute international profile of the athletes: in addition to the Italian powerhouses and top teams (with the regional formations Gottardo Giochi Caneva and Libertas Ceresetto ready to perform well on home soil), there will be teams coming from Mexico, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Denmark, Slovenia, and Croatia.
Everything is ready to welcome the most anticipated youth race of the year. On Saturday, June 13th, the stage will belong to the young champions.
