ABOUT US

ASD EMOZIONE

ASD Emozione is not just a sports acronym, but the expression of a promise we made to ourselves. We are a group of friends who have spent most of our lives on the pedals and who, from cycling, have received much more than simple trophies: we have received a school of life made of hard work, loyalty, and resilience.

Today we feel a deep need to “give back” all of this. We are not interested in showing off our past or our technical skills; what truly drives us is gratitude. We want to give back to the roads and the people those values that life and sport have given us, while honoring the memory of those who, before us, knew how to organize and love cycling with the same dedication.

We dedicate our free time to this project because we believe that passion is a baton to be passed from hand to hand. We don’t have a structure made of athletes, but a soul made of values that we want to protect and pass on.

Trofeo Emozione: our way of saying thank you
The Trofeo Emozione is the beating heart of our philosophy. We don’t consider it a simple competition, but an act of collective gratitude. It is our way of showing that sport is an engine of noble feelings that never stops and that, despite the passing years, can still deliver authentic thrills.

Organizing this race means for us transforming memory into action and passion into a shared experience. We want everyone who participates — whether an athlete, a partner, or a simple spectator — to feel that here we don’t just race for a finish line, but to celebrate together the beauty and strength of the values that have made us the people we are today.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

WRITTEN BY ALEX CORAZZA

When people ask me “But what do you like about cycling?” or “What do you think about when you spend all those hours alone on the bike?” my answers are always: “The effort” and “Everything you don’t think about when you spend hours hunched over with a phone in your hand.”
For me, cycling has been and still is fun, just as it has been an educational gym for life, but above all, it was the element that helped me survive other battles.
As a rider, I didn’t win anything that fans might remember me for, but thanks also to what this sport conveyed and taught me, I was able to beat a serious illness like leukemia twice.
The tenacity in suffering, the will to resist fatigue, the grit not to give up, the mental strength, discipline, and sacrifice trained during my career as an athlete were all useful and indispensable allies in facing treatment and overcoming the many moments of discouragement I went through.
Years later, and after a master’s degree in engineering, the bike remains a huge passion of mine to which I always feel the need to dedicate time to stay fit, but also to release the stress and tension of my work.
To young riders, I’d like to leave this reflection: “Not all of you will be able to fulfill the dream of turning professional, or of establishing yourselves as great champions, but always remember that what cycling has conveyed and taught you can be applied in other moments of your professional career or private life.”
Good luck to everyone, and always give your best on the pedals so you have no regrets.
Alex Corazza
